hey folks, update time. so ive finally finished the packaging and artwork. also i wanted to mention that the packaging had to be redesigned since blindbags wont work. it would put the dunnys at risk of breaking so i found some nice fitting boxes that were perfect. i originally was going to have my son gavin who is 13 to do the header artwork but instead i had him do a series of drawings based on this series and did he deliver! i also incluided a drawing as well plus a handmade sticker at your disposal. the box is handpainted which give it a disstressed look. a bonus for you lucky customers, i hid a a bonus figure handpainted in silver paint which entitles you to a 8inch custom munny! so good luck to you all. these dunnys are up for sale starting this saturday 11.05.11 at 12am mountain time. these are priced at $100. sign up list now open. email me @ grivas78@cox.net to get on the preorder list as these will be sold blindly on a first come first serve basis. these are twelve custom three inch dunnys,they are also numbered 1 thru 12. titled "synthec probes wave 1: the intrusion" any questions contact me at grivas78@cox.net. here are some pics of the final product..... im getting goosebumps!!

Hello all, so mine and Jay222's show the Homegrown Monsters is finally here! The opening night was good, not many people showed, sorry Red Hot Robot. But the greatest thing happened to me.....the next day jason from red hot robot was hosting the Sketch4Sketch tour , which Alex Pardee, Dave Correia exchange sketches with fans.Along with filmmaker Stephen Reedy documenting the whole thing.
We get to RHR and there is a kinda long line but about an hour & a half later, we are at the front of the line! We finally introduced ourselves and Alex Pardee asked if i did artwork and told him that all the customs behind me were all mine. Well that is all im saying, i will let this video do the rest of the talking.... remember....one of the best things thats happened to me at least.

I was so thankfull that Alex Pardee, Dave Correia and their filmmaker Stephen Reedy, each bought one of my pieces. Words cant explain how happy i was, Thanks guys!

It is kind of a shame to hear that but in a way it makes me smile.... someone really wanted my work that they actually broke the law to get it! I recently had a contest set up to see who would interpret my customs in 2d form.The winner would win a custom 7 inch munny for free! The rule was to draw one of my customs in my flickr account on the most unusual object so i was expecting someone drawing on an Ipod, lunchbox or maybe even a shirt.......boy was i way off. I got a pretty good amount of entries but there was one that just stood out and made me say"WTF"! A KidRobot forum member by the name of LuckyOrangeRat went all out and tattoed my shit on his leg!! That was the most insane thing i ever saw for the fact that my art was on someone's skin meaning"permanent".
The other 2 participants drew up some dope shit too, erik Jorgensen made a custom 10 dollar bill with a custom of mine that made me think of what the Amero would look like if i was president!Last but not least, my friend by the name MacIX did a sweet painting of my BadApple Custom, dope! I just want to thank you guys for the participation and the customs are gonna be shipped around the 20th of August, a little late but better late than never!

So the Munny Grubbers Show has come and gone folks and dammit am i glad! This was the most stressfull project that i've been a part of, but well worth the effort! When I saw these customs that were being sent in all i could do is drool over the amount of skills that each and everyone of the artists showed on these pieces! Big thanks go out to Jay222 and company for making the trip all the way from San Fransisco, just to be part of the show. We both entered a collaboration piece for the Munny Grubbers Show and was voted second place overall. I was nervous when I first got the piece in the mail cus as you may already know, this guys got some insane sculpting skills and his munny was just too much for me to take in! I had the munny sitting on my desk for about a week trying to figure out what to do with it without fucking him up. Luckily, jay approved of the final outcome when he saw it for the first time at the show. It was blessing to have him ask me to do a collabo cus man, obviously i suck at this shit and my name is well, unheard of. We took 2nd place with this piece as So thanks Jay for everything man. I finally gave in to starting my own blog dedicated to my customs and art as well as life situations that inspire my creativity.So the show is nearing its date and im excited. I was so glad at the response i recieved for submissions to the show. Alot of nice customs so far!
